Official Dismaland Programme
2015
Print on Paper

The Dismaland Official Catalogue was published to accompany Banksy’s 2015 pop-up exhibition in Weston-super-Mare, serving as both souvenir and artwork in its own right. The 64-page publication includes contributions from artists such as Damien Hirst, Jenny Holzer and Jimmy Cauty, alongside Banksy’s own pieces.
Designed to resemble a cheap tourist brochure, the catalogue is infused with bleak humour, satire and political commentary. It features essays, installation photographs and mock adverts for the park’s despair-inducing attractions, each page reflecting the irony and disillusionment that defined the project.
Now regarded as a collector’s item, the catalogue stands not only as documentation but as an extension of Banksy’s vision a dark mirror held up to tourism, consumer culture and the art world.
