By merging the aesthetics of ancient sculpture with the imagery of modern-day protest, Banksy bridges past and present to expose the realities of political struggle.

The Walled Off Hotel itself is one of Banksy’s most ambitious social commentaries. Perched beside the Israeli-built separation wall, the hotel has been described as offering “the worst view of any hotel in the world.” Through works such as Adonis with Teargas, the space invites reflection on the daily impact of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, particularly on the lives of Palestinians.
