Keep Left
2019
Sticker

Released as a limited edition print in 2019, Keep Left reimagines Banksy’s iconic flower thrower within the visual language of official street signage. The masked protester throws a bouquet of flowers instead of a weapon, transforming confrontation into peaceful resistance.
Framed by a bold red prohibition ring and the directive “KEEP LEFT,” the work mimics regulatory signage while subtly subverting it. The phrase functions both as a traffic instruction and a political cue. The code “BY ORDER 017/BNK/5Y” satirises institutional authority, reinforcing Banksy’s critique of power and public compliance.
